Best Cash Back Shopping Sites

by Andy Hough on August 23, 2010

Cash Back shopping sites such as Ebates, Big Crumbs, and Mr. Rebates get paid for sending customers to online merchants. They then share some of that cash with the customers who went through their shopping site to make the purchase. It is a simple process. You log in to the cash back site of your choice and then click through to the online merchant where you want to make a purchase. After you check out you will get a percentage of the purchase price back in your cash back account. These percentages are usually 1% – 7% but they can be even higher.

The cash back shopping sites I prefer are:

Ebates -   They currently offer a $5 sign up bonus and have one of the largest selection of merchants to choose from.

Mr. Rebates - They also offer a $5 sign up bonus.  They have the best cash back percentage for a lot of merchants.

Big Crumbs -  They do not currently offer a bonus but they do have a large amount of merchants to choose from and competitive cash back percentages.  You can also check out the BigCrumbs Deals page for great deals that are added on top of the cash back.

Once you sign up for any of these cash back shopping sites you can earn money for referring new users just like I do. Not only can you save a little money on your online purchases you can make a little money as well.

I never received my $5 rebate from Ebates for signing up. Would not do business with them again!

I received mine with no problem. Are you sure you followed the guidelines?

Shop At Home is another great rebate site. I use it frequently for booking my hotels for business travel.

I have heard good things about Shop at Home as well. There are lots of cash back sites out there but I think it is best to just use a few.

To get $5 sign-up bonus, you need to make a $20 qualified purchase.

BargainMatch.com is another good one that combines product price comparison and cash back. I like this better than the select a store option like on ebates. I switched as a result. The cash back rates seem comparable to ebates and others too.

Online shopping provides a lot of opportunities for saving money while shopping. Several cash back sites, coupon sites, rewards programs are available on the net that help shoppers saving online. Such facilities are not available in the brick and mortar stores. Moreover, online retailers provide special offers to the online buyers. Being a frugal online buyer, I always use cash back websites like ShopAtHome, AAfter Search and Ebates, and MrRebates

There are lots of good sites. I use Ebates and Mr Rebates too but haven’t tried the others.

All great cash back sites that you recommend. I still find it best to compare them all using http://www.cashreporter.com

That is a helpful site. It is good to know you are getting the most cash back available.
