In exchange for publishing the previous post H&R Block is providing me with free copies of the Federal Premium version of their online tax software. I’m going to be giving away two copies here as well as giving away copies on my other sites. I’ll provide links to the other giveaways later. This software should allow you to do your federal taxes for free but if you use it for your state taxes as well you will have to pay a fee for that.
This contest will be a little different than the others I’ve had. Now that I’m starting to make some decent money online I am forming an LLC and opening a business account for my online businesses. I could just use my name for the business but I’d like something a bit more creative than that. I’ll be giving away one copy of the tax software to whomever comes up with the best name for my business. Creating a name out of the blog name or my name is my preference but if you come up with a good name that doesn’t use either of those I’ll still consider it. In addition to the copy I give away to whomever comes up with the best name I’ll also give away a copy at random. Just leave a comment on this post to enter. The Miser’s Money
I would just go with Tight Fisted Miser LLC. It’s who you are it’s what you do. It may not be creative but it doesn’t have to be does it? How many people are going to know unless you plan to do other things in the business where people need to know the name of your LLC.
I would tend to agree…Tight Fisted Miser is how you’re known, why not keep and make best use of it? (Or go to TFM Productions, something like that.)
Another thought:
Tight Fisted Productions (because then it should show up in a search for ‘Tight Fisted Miser’ almost as quickly as the name itself)
Please keep writing about specific events in your life — that’s what I enjoy most. How about how you’re going to celebrate Valentine’s Day, since you’re less than a year married now?
The Wiser Miser LLC ,hey no more epic hikes since you got married?
My hikes weren’t too epic and I will have to scale back but I’m hoping to get a hike in sometime this year. The epic hike will wait until 2015 when my wife can go with me.
Just curious why you wouldn’t want to go with something that you are known for, as others have pointed out.
Frugal Family Miser… LLC would be something that you could include your family. Most of your viewers are married and would like to know more about how families can save money.
I also would like to know more about how you and your wife spend time saving, working together on your mystery shopping.
Do you have Valentine plans? Does she support your hiking? What does she do to support the savings with the family income?
I do have other sites besides Tight Fisted Miser and I’m looking at other ways to make money online. Although I suppose the miser name could work for all of those.
I will try to post more personal family posts as long as it is ok with my wife. 🙂
