| Utilities | $314.71 |
| Entertainment | $8.99 |
| Transportation | $114.04 |
| Food | $378.08 |
| Health | $27.03 |
| Visa | $0 |
| Phone | $15 |
| Total | $979.06 |
October’s expenses were very low. This might be the last time my monthly expenses make it under the $1000 mark.
Entertainment expense was for one month of Peacock and $7 of books from the library sale. My Hulu, Paramount Plus, and Amazon Prime bills were all free due to various deals.
My transportation expense consisted of $114.04 for gas.
Food expense was $378.08. That is divided between $247.11 for groceries and $130.97 for restaurants. Getting our food bill under $400 is about the best we can do. Maybe we can do it again this month. I’ve got a lot of free food deals and discounted gift cards to use.
Visa expense came in at $0. I did finally finish the visa application. They are reviewing it now. We should have some more visa related expenses this month and perhaps some travel spending related to the visa as well.
Utilities came in at $314.71. This was for electric, water, trash and internet. This was a little lower than the previous month since we didn’t use as much air conditioning. This much should be much lower.
Household expense came in at $121.21. There wasn’t a big expense this month, it was just lots of miscellaneous.
I spent $15 for one month of phone service for my wife.
The $27.03 spent on health was for health insurance and otc medications. The health insurance was almost free since I cashed in some incentives the health insurance company awards for completing various healthy activities.
October was one of those rare months where there weren’t any unusual or unexpected expenses. This month’s expenses will be higher, but hopefully still reasonable. How was your month?
