Here is a breakdown of my online income for July 2011.
Google Adsense – $214.63
Affiliate Income – $217.50
Brokered Ads – $57.58
Direct Ads- $1785.19
Total – $2274.90
July was another great month for income. Some of that income was from deals made in June that I didn’t get paid for until July. Direct ad sales have fallen off quite a bit since then but I expected that to happen eventually. I’d like to make $2000 every month but I’m not at that level yet. I’ll be doing good to make $1000 this month. This month I am working on monetizing another website, increasing affiliate income, and hopefully developing another online income stream. My next goal is to have a $3000 month by the end of the year.
Very impressive numbers.
Nice article, thanks for the information.
How do you make so much on Adsense? I make $3/month if I’m lucky! I have just the one website and loathe sites that are cluttered with adsense…but yours clearly isn’t. How do you do it?!
I don’t have Adsense on this site. The Adsense earnings are from two other sites I own.
This is impressive. Good luck to you making even more money.
That’s awesome. I’m still shooting for my first few hundred…
great progress! in the stages of thinking how to monetize my site.. for now i just have google adsense.
Amazing!!!
Awesome, I love income reports! Keep sharing!
That really is amazing. I wish I could make that kind of money monthly. I’ve had a few spikes here and there, but the average is well below that number.
Congratulations on your success so far! 🙂 I always found it a lot easier to make money with Adsense than affiliate programs, but that’s probably because I was more likely to promote some $50 lawn vacuum at Amazon than someone’s $500 info-product (with a 50% affiliate cut, heh). 😀
I had $150 come in out of the blue the other day thanks to a review I’d done years ago for Yaro Starak’s Blog Mastermind course. Definitely some affiliate money to be made in those arenas.
The $50 lawn mower still provides a lot more commission than the $10 personal finance books I usually link to on Amazon.
It is nice when you make some affiliate income from a long ago post but I think that has only happened a couple of times for me and I don’t have anything that pays commissions that big.
Thanks for the comments everyone.
Nice earnings for July, well done. I keep seeing that affiliate ads and direct ads are paying bloggers quite well, but I have yet to put more effort into that aspect of online earnings. Working at increasing my Adsense income seems so easy compared to the other methods, and I am reluctant to neglect it while persuing other avenues, but I guess I’ll have to try the other methods sometime! My Adsense earnings for July just beat yours, at $227, and my August Adsense earnings were $263. Keep up the great work with all your online earning efforts!
