Some Simple Swagbucks Strategies

by Andy Hough on March 6, 2015

Swagbucks is one of my steadiest source of extra money. I usually get about $20 in Amazon gift cards a month from them. There are people who make a lot more than that, but for the time I put into earning Swagbucks I’m happy with what I get. Just last year I was lucky if I made $5 in gift cards a month so I’m happy with the strategies I have implemented to boost my rewards from Swagbucks.

The simplest way to make Swagbucks is from referrals. Once someone signs up through your referral link you get a percentage of the Swagbucks they earn for life. Some categories of Swagbucks earnings are excluded, but overall it is a pretty good deal. You get Swagbucks for referring the new member and it doesn’t cost the new member anything, plus the new member can now earn Swagbucks and refer people as well. There are several referral links in this post if you want to sign up through my referral link. A drawback to this strategy is that eventually you will have referred everyone you know. Even if you have a blog like I do, eventually most of the readers that are interested in signing up will have already signed up.

My biggest Swagbucks earner is Swagbucks TV Mobile. This is an app that I have loaded on my Kindle Fire. I play it each day and earn the limit of 36 Swag Bucks a day. This used to be even better when the limit was 50 Swagbucks a day. I’m hoping they don’t drop the limit again. There are a couple more mobile apps called Movie Clips and EntertaiNow that also allow you to earn a certain amount of Swagbucks a day. Unfortunately, I can’t get these apps to work on my phone or Kindle so I’m not sure how well they work.

Some SB earners that I do are the daily poll, NOSO, Daily Crave, and SwagButton. The first three can be found in the left sidebar of the Swagbucks home page. The SwagButton is an add-on for your browser that earns one point a day. These four things don’t earn a lot of points on a daily basis but the points do add up over the month.  Using the Swagbucks search engine also earns me a few Swagbucks most days.

Swag codes are another great way to earn more Swagbucks. Some days they have specials and have several swag codes released throughout the day worth a few Swagbucks each.  It can be difficult to know when a new swag code has been released. You can check on the home page. It is inconvenient and an inefficient use of time to keep checking for codes though. I have signed up for a service from swag codes spoiler that emails me each time a new swag code is released. This makes the process of collecting swag codes much easier and adds quite a few SBs to my monthly total.

If you want to find even more strategies for earning Swagbucks you should visit the BeerMoney or Swagbucks subreddits. They both have lots of information on how to earn more Swagbucks.
