I didn’t get off to a good start on my resolutions. They say when the going gets tough the tough get going but when the going gets tough I usually just quit. I’m not going to quit this time though. One poor week is just a bump in the road considering these are year long goals. Here is how I did on my goals this week.
My weight dropped to 223.6 pounds from 224.6 pounds the week before. I think I need to do a lot better than that since my goal is to lose fifty pounds. I’m still not drinking soda but I’m still eating a lot of junk and not exercising. That needs to change this week. On the positive side, if I just lose one pound a week I will meet my weight-loss goal.
I hardly wrote at all this week. My plan is to write 10,000 words a week which should lead to getting a book written and more posts written for my blogs. The 10,000 words goal might have been too optimistic but I wrote so little last week I can’t be sure what is realistic. I just need to make writing more of a priority this week.
My third goal is to make more money online and I’ll be updating that on a monthly basis. The month is starting off a little slow but I have a lot of prospective deals coming up. Also, I outsourced some blog writing and carnival submitting which I hope will ultimately lead to more revenue.
Here are some of the links I liked this week.
Get paid to reduce your energy usage at The Penny Hoarder.
I joined the 10-pound Challenge hosted by Newlyweds on a Budget. Lose 10 pounds in 12 weeks, win $$$. Are you in?
Discover Card no balance transfer fee offer at Bank Bonuses.
The number one retirement fear at My Retirement Blog.
Options Pricing at Investorz Blog.
I plan to include more blogs in next weeks links. Leave a comment if you’d like to be included.

I am struggling too with losing weight. I can’t blame the weather for not exercising as the temps have been in the upper 60s the last several days. One change I have stuck to is drinking more water. I have been feeling better in the mornings because I’m not dehydrated… now I just need to get off my butt and start moving!
1 pound x 52 weeks = 52 pounds! You may be down on it, but you’re still on track. Keep fighting the good fight.
I think 1 pound is good progress too. I don’t think it’s good to lose a lot of weight quickly.
Nice work on starting your weight loss goal and from staying away from soda. Exercise and low fat foods can do wonders! That’s great you want to continue on with your goals and get healthier.
I seem to have gotten off to a slow start as well. Heck, my Goals Post doesn’t even come out until tomorrow, that’s how far behind I am!
