Money Isn’t Everything

by Andy Hough on May 17, 2010

As frugal as I am and since I write about ways to save money all the time you might think money is my primary concern in life.  It is not.  It isn’t even close.  I’m quite content living a relatively simple life and I do not worry about money that much although I certainly don’t ignore money.

I am going to be moving to another city to live with my girlfriend very soon.  The practical thing to do would be to wait until the end of June when my apartment lease is up and my Census job is over.  I’m not always practical about money though and I know I will be much happier living with my girlfriend so that is what I’m going to do.  Since I am usually practical with my money I can afford to make impractical money choices on occasion.

You are right that money isn’t everything. Our needs are less than we think they are. Hopefully people will take that to the next level and cut their dependence on credit.
