My new job doesn’t start until the end of the month which leaves me with a lot of time on my hands. I’m a master at wasting time but I think it would be wise to use some of that time to do something productive. Therefore, I am making a few goals for this month. The first goal is to “work” 40 hours a week. I’ve been very lazy lately and need to get some things done. Work for the purpose of this goal will include anything productive such as cleaning my apartment, exercise, and writing for this blog in addition to money-making activities.
My second goal is to make at least $500 in extra income this month. This is money separate from online income or job income. I plan to make most of this money from mystery shopping and bank bonuses. I might come up with some other ideas as well during the month. The $500 goal should be easy to reach and if I make that before the month is over I will keep making extra income and see how much I can make.
My third goal is to see how little I can spend this month. I’ve been spending too much so far this year and I need to reduce my spending. For the month of April I will spend as little as possible and try to only spend money when absolutely necessary. Cutting my spending to this level isn’t sustainable but it will be interesting to see how low I can go for a month.
