Ray - In January my food budget broke down to $87.48 for groceries and $27.61 for dining out. I managed to have 7 restaurant meals on that $27. As you could probably guess those were cheap, fast-food meals.

What an eye-opener! Your food budget of $115.09 works out to $3.71 per day for a 31-day month like January. How is this possible? I suppose you never eat out, for starters. I consider myself an extremely frugal person, but my food budget (which I don't track all that precisely) is at least three and a half times what yours is. I really admire your self-discipline. This is like a whole new world opening up before my eyes!
