Well, it is actually more like a golf cart than an electric car. It is free after you take a $6,496.53 tax credit. If you don’t owe enough in federal taxes to use all the credit than your effective cost would be more. And you have to pay for shipping too. I’ll be passing on this deal. The deal was amusing to me because I don’t think this is what the government had in mind when they offered these tax credits.
