Earn Cash Back with Cashbaq

by Andy Hough on June 18, 2009

I’ve written previously about making extra money with cash back shopping portals. I’ve just started using the cash back site Cashbaq. The thing I like about this site is that you get 10% of what your referrals earn, 5% of what their referrals earn and 2% of what their referrals earn. I do little shopping myself so making money from referrals greatly increases my benefit for using these sites. Looking at their cash back percentages they appear similar to those of cash back sites that don’t pay for referrals. The site is free so there isn’t really any drawback to signing up. If you’re going to buy something online anyway you might as well buy it through a cash back site. They are currently offering a $5 sign up bonus. Just click through the link at the top of the post to sign up.

I also use Ebates and Big Crumbs. Ebates also offers a $5 sign up bonus. I don’t use them much any more because they don’t offer an opportunity to earn passive income for referring new members. Big Crumbs doesn’t currently offer a sign up bonus but they do pay you a percentage of your referral’s purchases. This was the main site I was using for online purchases but now I will be trying Cashbaq. These sites won’t make you rich but they will allow you to keep a little more of your money.

Wow! That’s really cool. Thanks for sharing that site. I never really use my credit card except for online purchases, but since I don’t think it has the cashback feature, this would be a great way to substitute it! Since I’m saving for a house, every dollar I can save counts. You know what they say, don’t knock The Power of Small!

If you buy through one of these cash back sites and use a cash back card you can save even more money. Sometimes you can add on a coupon code as well. All of that adds up to some significant discounts.

I do quite a bit of online shopping and LOVE using cash-back shopping portal sites, such as those you mention! You’d be surprised how it adds up. Here’s a handy tip: a GREAT first step to check which cash-back site offers the best cash-back deal. You can do this at evreward.com! I just type in the site that I want to purchase from and check the options. Try it yourself!

A few months ago, I had to buy a new vacuum cleaner because my old one died on me. My mom had an Oreck and highly recommended it. I used evreward.com to check for any cash back options. Only one shopping portal site offered cash back and I wasn’t signed up for it YET! I got almost $15 cash back just for taking the time to check for cash-back options at evreward.

Am I starting to sound like a commercial advertisement?! Sorry! I’m just a thrifty homemaker & wanted to share my $avings experiences!
