FBN Roundup- Arizona Cardinals Edition

by Andy Hough on January 19, 2009

The Arizona Cardinals have to be the most unlikely Super Bowl team ever. I haven’t been a Cardinals fan since the days of Jim Hart, Dan Dierdorf, and Otis Anderson when the team was in St. Louis. I was rooting for the Cardinals though because I like to root for the underdog and I’m a fan of Kurt Warner. I hope they have a good showing in the Super Bowl.

Here are some of my favorite posts from the Frugal Blog Network and beyond this week.

Almost Frugal asks how much extra are you willing to spend. This is a different way of looking at purchases.

Frugal Babe talks about bringing thrift back week. Hopefully, this will catch on.

Frugal Zeitgeist shares the one bright spot in the recession. There are many bargains to be found due to the poor economy.

Not Made of Money gives us how to have a frugal Super Bowl party. You should start planning now if you’re having a Super Bowl party.

The Frugal Duchess asks if people will continue to take buses and trains. Once the economy recovers if gas is still relatively cheap I expect many will quit riding the buses and trains. I hope I’m wrong and people continue to take them.
