FBN Roundup- Final Semester Registration Edition

by Andy Hough on October 26, 2008

I’m now in the process of registering for my final semester of law school.  Since this will be my seventh semester of law school I only have to take nine more credits to complete my graduation requirements.   If my schedule is approved I’ll only have class on Monday.  My final semester will be pretty easy other than having to do my 30 page R&W.

Here are my favorite posts from the Frugal Blog Network and beyond this week.

Almost Frugal posted “when price becomes the only factor.”  With my meager income price is often the most important factor.

Frugal Babe shares what she eats.  She shows it is possible to eat healthy and be frugal.

Frugal Zeitgeist asks “what changes do you see?“   There haven’t been any changes for me personally but people in general are a lot more worried about the economy.

Not Made of Money asked whether prepaid debit cards are a good idea.  I think they’re too expensive and I don’t foresee a situation in which I’d buy one.

The Frugal Duchess posted about bag rebates.  We get a nickel a bag for using our own reusable bags.  Not a lot of money but it is a nice bonus for doing something we’d do anyway.

From beyond FBN:

Broke Grad Student had readers shares their deepest, darkest financial secrets.  This is a really amusing post and there are some very creative entries.

Dumb Little Man shares 10 Ways to Improve Yourself While Broke.  This takes away my excuse of waiting until I’m finished with school and making more money to do things.
