FBN Roundup- Living In Sin Edition

by Andy Hough on October 5, 2008

The lease for my apartment expired at the end of September so I’m now officially living with my girlfriend.  I’ve spent almost every night here at my GF’s house since July so this isn’t much of a difference.  Not having my own place though does cause me a little anxiety.  Being a 41 year old lifelong bachelor I’m used to my independence.

Here are some of my favorite post from the Frugal Blog Network and beyond this week.

Almost Frugal brought us some “Frugal Halloween Costume Ideas.”  You don’t have to spend a lot to enjoy Halloween.

Frugal Babe talked about using her “Jogging Stroller as a Grocery Getter.”   This is a creative way to save money by walking for errands rather than using the car.

The Frugal Duchess posted about how she uses “Google for Her Public Transportation Planning.”  You can save a lot of money using public transportation and Google helps make it easier to do so.

Frugal Zeitgeist talks about the “Bad Old Days.”  Things aren’t all that bad.  My life is pretty good and I don’t expect the economy to change that.

Not Made of Money posts about “Home Organizing on a Budget.”  Some simple ideas on how to cheaply organize your home.  I make use of a couple old shoeboxes to organize my bills and important papers.

The Dough Roller tells us “How to Become a Millionaire.”  This is the first become a millionaire post I’ve seen where people didn’t feel comment on how a million dollars isn’t that much anymore.
