I remembered this week to submit posts to both the Carnival of Personal Finance and the Festival of Frugality. The Carnival of Personal Finance was hosted by One Caveman’s Financial Journey. He had a Labor Day theme dividing the categories up by items you’d find at a Labor Day cookout. My post “Keep Savings Aside from Retirement Accounts”.
The Festival of Frugality was hosted this week by fellow Frugal Blog Network member Almost Frugal. Her festival was based on a French vocabulary theme. My post ” Five Free Frugal Resources” was included in Saving Money Tips grippe-sou (money-grubbing, an old fashioned term).
Here are a couple of posts I enjoyed from the COPF and FofF.
Is $250k/year rich? asks LivingAlmostLarge.
This is somewhat relative but as someone who make less than 10% of that I’d have to say yes.
The Role Patience Plays in a Frugal Lifestyle posted at Retired At 47. This is something I still need to work on. If I had more patience I’d definitely have more money.
There are many more good posts be sure to visit the FofF and the COPF and check them out.

Thanks so much for the mention! And I completely agree with the Library being in your list of free frugal resources. It is an incredible resource that seems to be under-utilitized in general (at least where I live).
Thanks for the mention! I am on the side that $250k is RICH! I make a bit but I think it’s a lot of money.
Maybe because I grew up like you making less than 10% of that.
