Tuesday will be my first day back in school for the fall semester. I had one week off between quitting my job and resuming school. I wish I would have been a little more productive but I enjoyed being lazy. Here are my favorite posts from the Frugal Blog Network and beyond for this week.
Almost Frugal has some Frugal and Green Ways to Fix Clogged Drains. I’m going to try this on the bathroom sink.
Frugal Babe has a post about clearing out some of her clutter. It is amazing how stuff accumulates. She has a good point that there is no reason to keep stuff you’re never going to use. You’ve already spent that money so you might as well get rid of the stuff.
Not Made of Money has a post tells you to stop buying stuff with the payments mentality. Just can you afford the payments doesn’t mean you can afford it. You have to look at the total cost not just the monthly payment.
And lastly Tight Fisted Miser made it into Fire Finance’s Top 100 Personal Finance Blogs at number 89. My other blog Bank Bonuses made it in at 86. Fellow FBN member Not Made of Money came in all the way up at 39. I’m guessing the other FBN members would have made the top 100 but they aren’t in the master list.
