Oh ok, I know what you are talking about then. That sounds cool. I kinda wanted one of those things/still want. Don't know if I would bother paying that much for it though, plus my car is a '94

Emily- I wonder if people are really cutting back on using gas as much as they say. If gas goes to $7 or $8 we'll see people cutting back a lot more.

David- It isn't a scam. The device doesn't save gas directly but by altering your driving habits to be more fuel efficient. It will save you gas unless you're already a perfectly efficient driver. Whether it saves enough to justify the cost is another question.

Sounds like a big scam, stay away from it. If there was a cheap way for cars to get better fuel efficiency, manufacturers would already be putting it in cars.

Hmm...I wonder if those are really worth the investment. Sometimes people can't help blowing through gas, like getting stuck in stop and start traffic. I think the best way is to just cut back on driving all-together and start carpooling or using public transportation. From a Roper poll we just commissioned, it appears over half the country is already having to cut back: http://www.businesswire.com/portal/site/home/permalink/?ndmViewId=news_view&newsId=20080527006417&newsLang=en. I wonder what's going to happen when it gets up to $7 or $8 a gallon...makes me sick to even think about it.
