If gas goes to $7 or $8 we'll see people cutting back a lot more. David- It isn't a scam. The device doesn't save gas directly but by altering your driving habits to be more fuel efficient. It will save you gas unless you're already a perfectly efficient driver. Whether it saves enough to justify the cost is another question.
