I'm going to suggest that if you look for another one, and can't find it free, that you can often find very low-priced bikes if you live near a college campus. There are often auctions in the spring to sell off the random bikes that are abandoned there each year. You can get very nice bikes for less than $10, and the money often benefits a charity. Someone was bold enough to actually go in the side door, down the basement stairs and steal my $600 bike from the basement. I never saw it again. Oh well, what are you going to do.
