A local Wild Oats market has been closed after mice droppings were found on the grocery shelves. Apparently this wasn’t the first complaint and the store had been dealing with a “rodent challenge” for months. It is somewhat ironic that shoppers who were paying a premium for food that is natural and pesticide free got food contaminated with mouse droppings. One lesson to be taken from this story is that paying a higher price for a product is no guarantee of higher quality.
